This job involved the recovery of a building located in Gallipoli, in Via Micetti, consisting of ground, first and second floors. The building, dating back through the centuries but in good overall condition, features interiors with barrel vault “edged” ceilings and wooden floors. The project, besides the essential maintenance jobs required due to the age of the property, also involved certain functional adjustments to make it suitable for more current use and make it compliant with applicable property habitation norms, especially with regard to architectural barriers. Basically, the building was equipped with a lift and the sanitation systems needed for it to operate as a "bed and breakfast" facility. The above renovation operation was such as not to require alteration of the period features of the property, and in fact these were highlighted, inasmuch as they convey all the characteristics and charm of the building as such.
